Zest for Living Weddings
Visit us in picturesque Port Credit to select from our in-store wedding collections or shop securely online.
Couples can establish gift registries that can be emailed to family and friends. Guests can choose from among our many collections for the perfect gift for the bride and groom.
Party Favors – Let us work with you to source an interesting and useful token that your guests will actually use. The best party favors need little wrapping and can accommodate a tag that marks the occasion. Some ideas are mini picture frames (these can also be used as table indicators or to hold a meaningful message), keepsake boxes, bud vases, T-light holders and salt & pepper shakers. Beautifully packaged soaps work well for shower gifts.
You can visit us in Port Credit to see our in-store wedding collections or shop online from hundreds of items. In addition to party favours, Zestforlivingweddings – online – features cake toppers, guestbooks, bridal accessories, and stationary.

For the Bride and Groom - According to Emily Post, if you are invited to the ceremony and/or reception, you should send a gift, whether you are attending or not. Generally, gifts are sent to the bride in advance of the wedding. In some instances, gifts are brought to the reception and placed on a special table.
If you hear from family that the couple would prefer a charitable donation—as in the case of an older couple or an encore wedding—please respect their wishes. In some cultures a gift of money is THE traditional gift. If you are uncomfortable about giving cash or a cheque, you can give a gift certificate.
If you receive an announcement after the wedding has taken place, you may send a gift if you wish, but you have no obligation to do so.
Preferably, send the gift to the bride before the wedding or to the couple soon thereafter. Contrary to a current rumor that you have a year to send a gift, it really should be sent right away or within three months of the wedding.
There is no rule as to the correct amount to spend on a gift – though most people generally give at a minimum an amount equivalent to the value of the wedding dinner if they are attending. So it is entirely up to you. Let your affection for the bride and groom and your budget be your guide.
Gift Registry - We are happy to work with couples to establish a gift registry. A Zest for Living gift registry is a great way to collect a full set of Emma Bridgewater or Maxwell & Williams dinnerware or to choose some unique tableware and home accessories. Zest for Living can make the list available to family and friends and take phone orders. Gifts will then be beautifully wrapped and delivered to a local Port Credit address – free of charge.
Emma Bridgewater champagne flutes make a special gift. For a gift registry consider tableware or serving pieces.
Give a picnic basket or travelling wine tote so a couple can have a romantic evening under the stars.
Every couple will appreciate a spectacular candelabra such as this one from Umbra or for a more modest budget a pair of nickel or crystal taper candle holders are appropriate.
Terra Traditions photo albums are hand made with linen covers and some are embellished with crystals. Guest books can also be ordered with any of the images.
Heart shaped dip bowls or another white dish from Maxwell & Williams
Practical Party Favours: consider a Murano glass bottle stopper
T-Lite holders, bud vases and small ring boxes are also wonderful ideas for party favours.
